Osoyoos is located in the South Okanagan region and is home to numerous biking and hiking trails. Spend a day traveling along the winding roads that surround the many wineries. Hiking gives you the opportunity to experience the amazing plant and wildlife in the area. If you’re more into biking, there are a few bicycle tour packages available in the area to take.
A visit to a South Okanagan winery is a must if you’re staying in Osoyoos. During the Spring, several wineries in the area are by appointment only or have set hours. But as the Spring is in the off-season, you’re sure to get a visit. Plus, you’ll get to experience the wineries at a quieter time for a truly unique experience.
Fishing is a go in the Spring. Thanks to the warmer weather in the region, Osoyoos Lake warms up much earlier than other parts of Canada, making it the ideal place for fishing. You can expect to find it full of sockeye salmon and rainbow trout.
