A two day event from October 3rd to October 4th. A themed art show held in October; those attending vote on their favourites in 3 categories.

Okanagan Fall Wine Festival (01.10.2009)

This is an eleven day event from October 1st to October 11th. The annual festival celebrates wineries of the South Okanagan and features a number of events at the many wineries in the area.

Rock Creek Fall Fair (19.09.2009)

This is a two day event that begins on September 19th and ends on September 20th.  An old-fashioned country fair with live entertainment, tractor races, and a midway.

Festival of the Tomato (30.08.2009)

Held at Covert Farms just north of Oliver. Kids crafts, gourmet food vendors, wineries & silly tomato games for kids of all ages. Local micro-breweries & live entertainment.

Mount Kobau Star Party (15.08.2009)

This is an eight day event from August 8th to August 23.  Local astonomers gather on Mount Kobau, just west of Osoyoos, to explore the night sky.

Romancing the Desert (08.08.2009)

Each year under the August full moon the Desert Centre is the site of the most magical evening. On this special night you can stroll along our mile long boardwalk sipping fine BC wines & feasting on local culinary creations.

Relay for Life (20.06.2009)

Fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Held at the Desert Park infield from 6 p.m.-6 a.m.  Participants can register online at www.cancer.ca/relay. Join your friends and neighbours to raise funds for your team, or just come to Desert Park to enjoy the live musical entertainment and make a donation onsite.

Persona Oliver Half Ironman Triathalon (07.06.2009)

Located in the beautiful south Okanagan community of Oliver, BC, this race is a half Ironman distance competition consisting of a 2 km swim, 93 km bike and 21.1 km run. The race features a 2-loop swim in the protected waters of Tuc-el-Nuit Lake in the heart of Oliver, a 2 loop bike course in the lower Okanagan Valley featuring parts of the famous Ironman Canada course past Oliver wineries & ends with a 2-loop run through quiet residential neighborhood & along the banks of the Okanagan River.

Junior Triathlon (26.05.2009)

Get a taste of what the Ironman Triathlon is like, ages 8-15 yrs; 4 divisions. This is a non-competitive race.
